MARVEL COLLECTORS' ITEM CLASSICS

Just like Marvel Tales, in the 1960's, this title was a jumbo delight to read, - 72 pages, reprinting all those early.Marvel titles that you had previously missed out on!
An excellent way to catch up and fill in all of those gaps!

At least a couple of these would have been from my 1968 Skegness holiday!
I always had plenty to read every night!

  1. MCIC was a great comic. I wish it was still published. I have many happy memories of having several issues of this title in the '60s.

    1. I would absolutely LOVE it, if they started 3 titles again now, MCIC, Marvel Tales and Marvel Super-Heroes, ( like the one-off annual ) and start at the very beginning again, reprinting all the silver age Marvel strips!
Comic enthusiasts of all ages would be interested in such publications!

  2. Probably my favorite Marvel comic. Since the originals were a little before my time, MCIC allowed me to see the first appearances of Pepper Potts, Happy Hogan, Black Widow, Hawkeye, the Skrulls, and the Mad Thinker.

    1. It was much-loved over here too, TC, even though we did get to experience most of the Marvel Silver age chronologically in the Power Comics, these were only black and white reprints, so we would get to enjoy the stories that we too had missed in glorious colour, as Stan the man had intended us to enjoy them!
